auto fill 4 from 1

I have a form on which I want to fill 4 fields from a combo box. Not sure what I am doing wrong but attached a graphic with what I think is needed to answer the error message.

Why not simply use;

=cboClassID.Column(2)

as the Control Source for your text boxes, rather than fooling around with field events

Additionally, I'm assuming that you have change the name of your Combo from the default name to cboClassID.

That almost worked. It is filling the fields only instead of the data it is filling with #Name?. also this disabled some command buttons on the form that was to open other forms. it says "A problem occurred while Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX Control. Close the OLE server and restart it outside of Microsoft Access. Then try the original operation again in Microsoft Access." these buttons worked before to open the forms.

The #Name? Error indicates that Access can not find the control cboClassID. Is this combo on a sub-form perhaps?
