Auto Text

Hey Gang,
I haven't looked in the forum yet, this is just an idea that popped into the air.

Is there a way to auto insert a text of my choice into a field on a form.

Example:

I am constantly typing "No Supervisor Signature on Weldment" along with a few other phrases. It is not as simple as copy and past, if it was that easy I would not be asking the group. I am in and out of access 200 times a day. and I wanted to know if I can assign a "HotKey" to auto insert these phrases that I use.

I would suggest that you make a new table with a field something like addtext.

Fill in the "standard" phrases in the addtext field.
Make a combobox on your form, bound to that addtext field, select the appropriate (text) record and have that text filled in the relevant field on your form.
