Is there a feature in Access similar to Excel or Explorer where if you start complete a field with a word/phrase you have used before in the same field, it will suggest it? If not, can it be easily created?

Is there a format to this?

Is there a special format to this? I have tried
cboBoxName
(cboBoxName)
[cboBoxName]
=[cboBoxName]
SELECT [frmFormName].[cboBoxName] FROM frmFormName;

The only selection that is displayed is what I typed in (above) as the source. Am I doing this wrong?

Not quite...

Thank you. I looked at your database. However, the combobox "State" on your form seems to be pulling from tblStates. When I typed in something else, it allowed me to do so, but did not "remember" the new entry to be used again on the next record. How can I have my new entry either 1. Added to tblstates, or 2. Remembered so that the next time I type in the 1st few characters, it offers that selection or even autoselects it?

Thanks for your help though!
