Automated Message Boxes

Hi

I am trying to create a reminder system for my A Level database that runs a macro - particularly a message boxes - on a specified date. I require a series of the macros to be run at certain times throughout the year and for the user to add new messages if possible. I am really not sure where to begin so any help would be greatly appreciated.

When do you want the message boxes to appear? once a month or something?

If you've got an opening switchboard form you can run the macro then on whatever prescribed date.

Various message boxes need to appear at specified times during the year, and must be set so the next time the user logs in after the date it runs the message then.


Macros running update queries need to be run once a year but again I need to make sure that they are run if the database isn't opened on that day.


And how do I get them to run every year? I'm really not sure what to do.
