Hi all,
We have an Access 2000 db on a server that I can open.
Problem is, when other users open it up and use the Navigation buttons to say, view the next record, Access crashes with the following error:
"Method 'Requery' of object '_Subform' failed." (this is the Access supplied record navigation functionality - I havent customised it in any way)

Other users have been using it before with no problem (upto last week). I can still open the db and do not have any errors...
So, it appears to be a user related problem.

Any suggestions or things I should check out, please?

Many thanks,

mmm...
yes, Rural, I thought I'd be heading in that direction eventually.
("It's inevitable, Mr Anderson...")

It looks like I'll have to bite the bullet sooner if theres no quick fix to our immediate problem...

thanks.

Requery failed again...

Well I split my DB and I'm still having the same problem..

"Method 'Requery' of object '_Subform' failed."

This occurs when clicking to view the next record (using the normal Navigation buttons Access provide). The message appears then Access crashes.
AND it only happens with certain users!

any ideas?..

:(

At last, I fixed it!

Thanks Rural - I tried the /decompile option and saved it and that appears to have allowed other users to scroll through records without it crashing!

A happy programmer today! :D
