Hi everyone,
I have a table with an autonumber field as the unique identifier. This field had at one time been set as the primary key for this table. While doing some maintenance today, I noticed that this table's key had become unset. When I attempted to reset it, it said it was unable to b/c the rules of integrity would be violated. So I went to run a find duplicates query on it. From 17277 through 17323, about every other number has been duplicated. Does anyone know how this could have happend? Should I manually renumber the duplicate entries? How can I prevent this from recurring?
Thanks
Ed
