Hi,

I have completed my database, and I now want to split the database.

In my actual database, I have used some VBA coding to open table, etc. Now that I split the database, I will have to reenter all the coding to match the table path in the server LAN??

Isn't there a better way?

Thanks.

Definitely not: table location is a property of the table link. Access will handle that auto.

After I split the database, it looks like it doesnt recognize my tables in the VBA code.

I meant goodbye Access as far as using it to deploy serious applications go. I wanted to get some feedback and discussion about my points. I'm still going to take part here. Id like to be convinced that Access is the way to go as I like 99% of it. It's the 1% that drives me up the wall and Microsoft seem to jump from version to version without giving us things like a Treeview Control.

I was able to fix the issue by changing the "currentdb" tonthe backend one.
Now looking for a way to distribute the front end to user desktop, but have RainLover helping on it.
