I have wanted to split my databases for some time, since I know many of the advantages of doing so. But, I really did not know it could be done manually, in spite of many searches. Thanks to your post with its helpful link, I have done so now with one of my databases and I intend to do the others today. Now, I guess I'll be looking for a whole new method of backing up my files. I know it can be done easily enough manually, or even with a batch file, but the challenge of doing it with VBA promises another real learning experience!
