Is there any FREE software out there where a person can:

Backup
Compact and Repair

Multiple Databases. Would be great if I can backup around 30 days and than I can delete or it would automtically delete the older ones.

Well I found such software and it looks great:
http://www.peterssoftware.com/cal.htm

except that I cant get it to work for Access 2010. I know on the website says up to 2007 but it should still be able to backup, compact and repair 2010 databases. I am wondering if anyone got this to work? Maybe it has to be edited.

I also know of Total Visual Agent
http://www.fmsinc.com/microsoftaccess/Scheduler.html

But his costs money.

Looking for a free software. Anyone????

Which part of it doesn't work?
Hi JHB,

Thanks for answering my post. The problem seems to be with the WinZIP file.

Do you or have you tried this out? Have you tried the WinZIP option? If you do so what version are you using?

I think becase it is looking for winzip.exe and I have WinZip15 and it says winzip32.exe. I tried to change the name or look for a free Winzip.exe file but having no luck. Also I dont have winzip cline as it required a higher version. Even if I did get a higher version of winzip and paid for it it still doesnt work cause I think it's looking for an old version of just "winzip.exe"

The reason why I want winzip is becuase that is the only way you can get it to purge or delete files after X amount of backup copies.

If you dont use the winzip file it works for me.

I tried to change the code but everytime I do I get errors,

Thanks again.

I don't have WinZip installed I use the Zip compress feature in Windows.
But did you change the path and name in the form "frmProperties" as the developer wrote?
Else I think you could easy change the code to delete after certain condition.

Hello,
I have a corrupt database in Access 2013, i tried with these options to repair but on the website says up to 2007 and the other hand the software does not works very fine. Are there other tools for repair an Access database in MS Acess 2013 that you can recommend me?
Thanks ind advance!
