Hi Forum,
I am all confused with our little Network and have the following question:
Does a Mail Server have to have Two Network Adapters ? or can it just have one?
We want our mail server to not be the Gateway. Just clear the mail from our ISP via our Gateway Router and allow the Intranet Users to access their mail.
It is a Mail server only and we have our own Domain Name. The MX records are with our ISP.
Just changed the configuration so the mail server now goes through the router and things have turned to "custard".
Question is not to "solve" the problem but just to start me on my journey to same. Don't want to spend the rest of my life trying to get it working with only one NIC when two are needed.
Appreciate any advice.
