Basic Relationship Question

I think Ive already posted this but it didnt show.

Really simple one (I think!)

Want to track architects we appoint on construction projects and then which architects we sent tenders too. 3 tiers of information.

Project to Architects Appointed to Architects originally tendered

See attached image below as I cant get the sub sub form to work.

Help on setting relationships required please!!!! alot of head banging going on.

Let's step back and determine WHAT is involved inplain English.

You have Projects.
You have Architects.
You have Tenders.

What relates these "things"?
Describe if you will how these fit together in your "business" --simple terms -no forms , no Access..

A ProjectID relates all 3.

Each Project has an architect appointed (or a number of architects) and each architect that is appointed has won the job through a tender.

The hireachy is as follws

Project
Appointed Architect (Could be 5 per project)
The original tender list (Could be 3 per appointment)

All of which tied together through the original Project ID.

Still isn't clear, but let me make a few statements and you can adjust as it applies to you.

When I think of Tender, a Person/Company has a Job they want done. They send RequestForQuotation to several firms.
Firms respond to the RFQ with a Quote/their BestEstimate. On receipt of Quotes, the original person/company selects "the winner" and a Tender/Contract is awarded.

Now you haven't laid out the overall process, but did say you assign 1 or more Architects to a Project.

Reading between the lines, I'm guessing that 1 of your Projects could involve 1 to 3 Tenders. And each Project could have 1 to 5 Architects.
