I have a report that I created currently has months Jul – Nov by Department

Departments listed as rows
Months listed as columns
FTE listed as value

The report is based on a pivot query I created.

As the new month’s data is added to the table and then added to the query, I don’t want to have to keep modifying my report for when the new month’s data shows up.

Is there some condition or criteria or IFThen statement I can add to the report?

I’m not sure, but something like:

If Dec is not in “Qry_Pivot” then don’t appear on report, otherwise show Dec data.

How many months are you going to have 12-24-36 ???or just keep adding months
how does you report look

The report will only have 12 months.

See attached JPEG of the report - notice I circled what needs to be based on a condiditon - I changed the labels, but carried over the last month as placeholders going forward

At this moment I do have all 12 months listed on the report, but because I don't have any fields yet for months Dec -Jun I carried the Nov data field across for those months which are missing.

I know when my boss looks at it she's going to say "it's distracting and those month's haven't occured so take them off."

but I don't want to have to manipulate this report EVERY month when the new month's data finally shows up in the query.

I guess if the report can somehow be dynamic.

but it is simply 12 months worth of data - nothing more :)
