Book Publishers - what do you do

But of course, there IS an out for me. I'm writing fiction involving three or four different races and dialects. Nobody will ever KNOW if there is a syntax error or whether it is just verisimilitude and an accent.

As to the other issue, the game where I learned when NOT to bet is Bouret ("BooRay"), a trump-oriented game of 5-card hands where there are serious penalties for staying in when you shouldn't have.

I'm finding a lot more grammatical, spelling, word misuse errors in fiction than I ever used to. I'm back to reading with a red pen in my hand. I rarely buy technical books any more because I can't touch them and look through them in detail any more. Barnes and Noble is the last book store standing and they've totally stopped carrying mass-market paperbacks and carry very few technical books at all. Now, they're a glorified gift shop. I still sometimes buy the hard covers marked down to $6.99 because they're still cheaper than mass-market paperbacks which these days are up to $10.99 each but still discounted at BJ's and Walmart.
