Bound Picture

Hi

just wanted to ask anyone if they knew if it was easy to make a form where a bound picture is linked to seperate items i.e. employess with pictures of them

Also can you use any image files or just BMP files

thaks for your reply, i have tried to use the northwind sample database but somehow i have managed to make it stop showing the picture with all the emplpyess.

Do you know how i can reinstall the northwind database.

Also do you know if you can use other imgae files other than bmp pictures

Once again, dont use bound objects, use linked images

jpg file are fine - I hadn't use an OLE field before but I just put a .jpg into a field and successfully put an Unbound Objecty Frame on my form.

I don't know as I just did a manual test.

I suppose the Common Dialog Control would be a handy thing for selecting .jpg files from your harddisk.

It's not as if it's not a common question though - I'm sure there's loads of solutions in the archive.
