Bring Value from form1 to form2.

(Refer to Figure1 pls) How can i bring the value from form1 to form2 after i click the save button?

Do the two forms read from the same table or different tables?

there are reading from totally two different table. Any idea?

How about as part of the save button you run an append query (prior to closing the first form) that appends the refrence number into the other table. Then open the second form, and use OpenArg to get the from to open at the last record.

Actually my concept is after the user key in the information of training course then click a "save and add employee" button for linking the Reference no. and Course title to the new employee table then appending all the information of the employee who got train by the course immediately. now i am still trying to link the Ref and Course title to employee form...

i do try to use the button wizard > Open form that my forum's friend telling me to craete the get value button between both of the table but my employee table show nothing after i click the save button on the training table.

Any Idea?

TCRNewRecord form is always open when you open ETRenewRecord111 form?

If so why can't you use;

Private Sub Form_Open(Cancel As Integer)

Dim Reference As String

Reference = Forms!TRCNewRecord.Ref

Reference = Forms!ETRenewRecord111.Ref

End Sub

This is of course for the form2 (opening ETRenewRecord111).

Not 100% sure of this but you can see where I am going with it?
