Help~I broke my query!

All was fine until my boss asked to sort between two dates.

The original query showed which questions were answered "no" and counted how many times for each question.

Then I added a field to display that information between two dates.

>=#9/1/03# And <=#9/26/03#

Now it doesn't count the questions anymore. Just shows every question repeatedly with the count being 1.

Any idea where I went wrong?

Oh heck, never mind.

I needed to change my total to "where"

Good for you for figuring it out. By the way, you can also simplify the date critiera expression slightly to:
Between #9/1/03# And #9/26/03#

Thanks for the tip!

Unfortunately I didn't get it worked out. I jumped the gun! It's totaling the count again but doesn't display the date because I used "where"...

I'm back to trying to figure it out.

Maybe I can just display the date range on my report somehow...

Not sure exactly what you're trying to show then. Did you want to display the questions by date and count how many were "no"?

Yes I did, but I just talked to the boss. He's okay with me placing the range of dates on the report header. So each time I change the query I'll change that range of dates too.

That will probably be more condensed too!

Looks like it's gonna be okay. Thanks for your interest pal. Appreciate all the help you've given me!

Rhonda
