Browse/edit only

I have a form I wish to be used to browse and edit records only, not add new ones. In the form properties I disabled additions by selecting “no”, but now when I view the form it is blank, why is this? (I use Access 2003).

Make sure both Allow Additions and Data Entry are set to NO
