btrieve to Access

At work we have a very expensive program, used in the whole company, based on btrieve files but unfortunateley doesn't meet our departmental needs.

For the moment I create reports out of this software - save them as a text file and then import the text into msaccess, manual operations are required for this and my colleagues don't like it...

Now, it would be a lot easier if I can import directly from the btrieve files or link to them. Is this possible at all? If so, how can I do this?

If the btrieve system supports ODBC you can connect to the system and you can take the data into Access tables and then create your reports directly in Access.

If not then search for import on this forum!
