I have been developing Access databases for xx years but i have never created a web database.
In Access 2010 one of the templates is to create a web database.
In Access 2016 i can't find it.

A few questions:
  1. If it is possible, how does it work?
  2. Is sharepoint always involved?
  3. Do's and don'ts
  4. Any interesting sites where i can read more about the subject?
As always, thanks for your time.

Regards,
Guus

Gus things are moving to the web and there are low coding options for the web which is probably why it is confusing that Microsoft have chosen to deprecate the acces web option.

Here's my conclusion on tools for developing web databases I wrote this back in January 2017 but still applies I think.

As someone competent in ms access you will undoubtedly be in a better position in most to use some of the below listed tools. Does require a bit of time to get into though.

Low code generators for web databases

Hi all,

Thanks for your input.
Seems i've got something to read.

It is not a simple database application i would like to port to the web so I am also looking into the VPN posibilities.

Thanks again!

Colin, are you saying that not only have they removed you from that site, they have also prevented you gaining access to reading it?
