Hi, I'm fairly new to access and vba. I'm using access 2010 with a button on a form that merges multiply word documents (reports) into one single pdf document. The pdf document is then automatically saved to a folder on a shared server. Now I'm wondering if there is any vba code I can use to burn the pdf document in a cd. We need to use cd's because our company is required to submit various reports to certain governmental agencies who still request the reports be placed on a cd. Kind of antiquated huh? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Writing to a disc (compact, hard, floppy, flash or other) is the operating system's job.

If you are able to generate pdfs with your database already, it should just be a matter of pointing the save location to whatever drive the cd is. That of course assumes you have a cd writable drive attached to your computer and you in fact stockpiled writeable CDs.

Yup, it doesn't have much to do with access, more to do with the operating system and some basic settings.

Thank you both. I appreciate your fast reply. I'll just make the pdf document visable and the user can select from there what to do with it. Thanks again...
