If you are working on a school exercise those often require a certain type of solution. This thread would not have been nearly as long if you had disclosed that information. Some helpers don’t like assisting on school projects so that should be disclosed at the beginning of the thread. Then those that elect to help can take a different approach. Since you elected not to share that information with us until the end, I wish you well.

These are old exercises that I'm going over for practice, they aren't going to be submitted in class. I'm covering previous work because as the saying goes "practice makes perfect." Sorry for the confusion and I don't mean to offend anyone.
