Hello All,

I am looking for assistance on calculating values between 2 different tables, with 1 value being a query. Please let me know if you can help, thanks!

Your description is somewhat confusing. Can you try again and this time use a specific example of what data is in the two tables and what you mean by "1 value being a query."

Sorry for the confusing thread.. As I dive more into this, I am realizing my initial question may have been a bit off. My apologies! Here's what I am having trouble with.

I need to have calculated the following fields:
Total = StaplingCost + PaddingCost + ArtworkCost + BackCost

Total, StaplingCost, PaddingCost, ArtworkCost are queries all within tbl_services. These values are calculations based off of selections from the site. [Hint: StaplingCost is $0.06*the selection of 0-25)

Back_Cost column is in tbl_services, but is a query inside tbl_ticket called "back_cost" (nothing is displayed in the column Back_Cost in tbl_services). The value is calcuated based off the amount of tickets per 1,000. Meaning [Back_Cost = (TicketQty/1000)*$15].

Your help is greatly appreciated! I can upload a slimmer version of my database if need be.

Matt:

I suggest you work with Kristen and Mark over at Utter Access as they seem to be on the right track with you (from your post there). I don't have 2007 at work here anyway so it would make it hard to view the database for me anyway.

Great. Thanks for your input. I hope they help as I have hit a pretty decent road-block.
