Calculate NPV in Access (1 Viewer)

I have a table that contains the discount rate and cash flow for about 20K assets. Curious if it's possible to calculate the NPV for each of those properties and have it print in the table? It doesn't look like there's an NPV calculated field in the version of Excel I'm using and have tried different VBA macros to no unvail. Curious if anyone has any proposed solutions? I thought I could try to take the table turn it into a recordset and then use a connection to Excel to calculate the NPV and then move that to a recordset and append to the existing table, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to not error out, or if it was even possible. Thanks in advance!

You would not store the NPV in the table. It will be out of date immediately and for that reason, we would calculate NPV as we need it. You will have to create a function to accumulate the values(). You would then use that function in a query.
