I am trying to make an inventory database. I would like to know how to calculate data from two records. (i.e. previous record and last record) on a report.
The simplest way is to put some code in to the On Format event in the detail section using a static variable which you add values to (?) from a (hidden) control in the report. Obviously there would have to be some way of telling on which records to reset to zero etc. You may also have problems if you preview the report and scroll back and forth through the records.
