Calculating the shift time

Basically i am trying to create an automatic sheet which will track the shift timing. As soon as an employee will login to the computer, it will track the time of login and logout.
i have completed pulling the login name (network) and time but now wants help on......
running the access application in the background without disturbing the employees.

Please help, will really be thankful !!!

You could probably put a short cut for the DB in the Start Up folder for the computer, and set it to run minimised. The user would however see the the DB is running as it would appear in the task bar.

If the computer is networked, I'd be a little surprised if this wasn't something the network admin couldn't do using available network tools.
