Calculation query to generate a total

I have a query for totaling several fields together. I am pretty certain the expression has been written correctly but it will not generate a total at all for me. Each field is a quantity of feed fed to an animal. I am trying to achieve the total quantity of all the different feeds combined together.

This is how what I have written in the field looks at the minute of the query builder....


TotalFW/head: nz([Quantity1FW])+nz([Quantity2FW])+nz([Quantity3FW])+nz([Quantity4FW])+nz([Quantity5FW])+nz([Quantity6FW])+nz([Quantity7FW])



Can anyone helo or does anyone have any ideas?

The proper syntax of NZ() is

NZ(yourField,value if yourfield is Null)

eg. NZ (Quantity,0) use the value of Quantity, but if it's Null, use 0
