We have just been upgraded to Office 2010 at work and I'm adding some percentage calculations to a spreadsheet. However I have noticed if I recalculate a percentage that I had previously done in 2003 it gives me a completely different result.....any ideas???

It really just is a case of going through each number in the calculation and checking it is the same as in your previous spreadsheet. If they are the same then check the brackets etc. in the formula, you can also use the evaluate formula button (no idea where it is in excel 2010 or if it is in at all) to step through the calculation and see what is happening different.

It's not a new spreadsheet, it's the same one opened up in 2010 and the calculations entered again. The weird thing is, it now seems that the ones that 2003 had done were wrong and 2010 are right....which is very very worrying.

would you be able to give an example of the numbers?? what it was, vs what it is now, and what your multiplying it by... There are some known issues with 2010 and how it does calculations on some numbers.
