Hi,

1) Is there anyway whereby I generate on total sales from user input from Calender control?

2) Eg: I insert a Calender control to my form, Once User Click on particular date I generate Sales for that particular Date?

Thanks (In advance for advice sharing & God Bless)

In short....Yes.

Based from the Date Value that is returned from the Calendar Control you can take that Value and place it into a Query to run against either a Table, Form, or Report.

.

Linking Query with Calender Input

Erm.. Now is the tricky part.

I am thinking of running a query to display a daily, monthly, yearly to a form. but again how to link thatquery with a calender return value ?

Use the MS-Access Query Builder, it's ideal for this sort of thing. Then apply the query to the RecordSource property of your Form.

If you can, Post a Sample DB with some fictitious Table data.

Hi,

1) Let me see If I got it right,
a) Create new form just for this sales thingy. (With relevent controls like text button etc)
b) New Queries to generate sales. (Lets start with total daily sales, ignoring by model)

2) In my << form_sales.recordsource = docmd.runquery query_dailytotalproduction >> ?

3) Do I generate a normal query, update query, normal query?

4) Table> table_productioninfo

5) Query I had in mind> query_dailytotalproduction
5a) Model
b) Qty
c) ProductionDate

6) The part here is Do I group by production date ?
6a) SQL statement like >
<<Select Date from table_productinfo where date .*>> ?

Thanks (In Advance) & God Bless
