Hi

I am in the middle of trying to design a support database.

I had a brief training session on Access 2003 about 6 months ago but not used it since.

I was hoping on the MS website there would be a template that I could use.

Ideally, I am after a simple database and then a form I can use when I need to log a support call, so then I can see what is outstanding etc.

I think this would be possible with Access.

Can anyone offer me any help?

Many Thank

Elphaba

Wrong thread, questions like these should be posted in the "general" section of the forum.

It doesn't sound like you're troubleshooting anything. Try experimenting and see what you can do on your own. Also, if you are just interested in keeping a LOG, you can do that a lot easier in other programs. Access is not the program to use for something like that.

Sorry, I hoped that I was in thr right place.

I fiddled but cannot work out how to put in the new fields in one of the tables into a form that is already there.

WIll keep on with it.

Thanks

To insert a control on a form that is bound to a field on an existing table, add the control to your existing form with the toolbox and set your control source (located in the control's "properties") to the new field of the table (select from the dropdown that is in the control souce line)
