Hi, thanks for reading. I'm in the process of producing a recruitment database, used by my work for tracking people's applications and producing reports etc. (see attached)

My problem is with producing reports. I was wondering if somebody could produce a summary report which produces some statisitcs as to the applicants. The first report that I require is some basic 'source analysis' , it should be a page whereby the user can specify a time period e.g. 01/07/04 to 31/07/04. The page should then show a chart detailing where the applicants were referred from (Field: Source, tblApplicant). It should also show the time period on the page as well as a box for the user to enter a comment.

I'd recommend looking at the sample database which is included with access XP. There a report in that which which returns data between a user specified date range. It should help you with the design of the form for users inputting the date range. If you customise this to allow the user to enter comments when selecting the date range then the comments can eassily be placed on the report.
