Hi,

I have report &/or form which lists booking availability, basically a list dates & number of spaces.

I would like to publish it to my wordpress website somehow, preferably quick & easy, not too much export import etc.

Access 2007.

I know I can export to html just note sure if this is the best way & how I then publish it to my wordpress site or upload via ftp hopefully from within Access.

Thought about google spreadsheet, this can be very easily integrated into Wordpress, html code provided.

How to get data to google?

Just not sure how it could all fit together or even possible.

Also this export to html does not format very nicely, just black text so far, my report has colours & background colours (mostly from conditonal formatting)

There are a few wordpress plugins that have calendar availability apps but assume the data in web based (database) and no way to get at this.

Can do a little web programming but not great.

Not sure about this sharepoint thing & don't want to spend the money, also really only need 1 way data.

Any ideas?
Thanks I/A

Hi,

Reply to my own post as had some good progress.

I use google spreadheet link embeded into my wordpress page.

In access I have a form with the lists of data,
A button that auto selects all & copies.

A hyperlink to the google spreadsheet.
I manually paste this.

I actually publish a 2nd formatted, spreadsheet page that is linked to the pasted page as it is not pretty direct from access.

This is only one direction but really quick with a press of a few buttons.

I am thinking this might be a good way to have a News/Message section that I can edit (or more importantly by staff could use) from Google Docs word processor.

Anyway if anyone has a more elegant way or improvement on this.

I would quite like it to automate (from the press of the button in Access) the select & pasting in the spreadsheet mainly for staff again but very easy without & could be prone to going wrong.
Google has scripting, I have never tried, perhaps this could be of use.

Thanks
