Question can do each individually, but not together in onclick event

Ok, I want to click a button to add a new record as well as see the related records. I can make a button to add a new record or see the related records, but not both at the same time.

I used stLinkCriteria to see the related records and doCmd, go to record, acNewRecord.

Any suggestions?

Your post is slightly confusing. Can you post a screenshot of your form and a slightly better explanation of what you expect to happen? Is this button on the form which you expect to see this? Or is it on another one and the code is opening up this other form?
