I have never had this problem before...


I am trying to import an excel spreadsheet.....

I get the error message "error trying to import file " ". the file was not imported.


it doesn't give me any more detail than that (ie: import errors table)


i tried to import just one of the fields from the spreadsheet and still get the same problem.


I'm totally stumped. (i have tried findling with the field format etc and it doesn't make a difference)

Is the excel spreed sheet corrupt?

can anybody help me?

Have you tried linking to the spreadsheet?
How about export the spreadsheet as a .CSV file and see what it looks like and if that can be imported.
