I think the responses in this thread so far have led me to believe that Firefox is not the best browser for me to use.

Considering that everything is built on chromium now anyway, maybe I should switch to one of the chromium based browsers...

Chrome doesn't show me my updated avatar, so still not sure what to think. But I know it's working now. Thanks guys.
