I have created a report, and a subreport. The subreport is a series of checked (or unchecked) boxes linked to an ID #.
Problem is, when the subreport has NO checked boxes, the entire subreport does not appear at all within the report.

Any easy answers:

?

How about changing from a check box, to a text box where the only options are yes and no - the reason your sub report is not showing is because there is no information to display.

any other ideas?

Nexshark is my boss (just so you know I haven't hijacked his thread);)

Changing from checkbox to text does not take care of my problem since I am still not entreing data to that table until later.

What I want to do is print the report with the subreport (whether data is null or not) and be able to hand the report to my boss for his review of data. He then checks what he wants and I will go back and enter it into the computer.

I would like the report to work so if there is some data entered the subreport will show and if there is no data yet the subreport will still show with nothing checked yet.

Any takers?

Do the check boxes show at all when you pre-view the report.

The reason I ask is because I had a similar problem, in that the boxes would appear in the preview report, but not print out onto the report.

The problem in my case was the printer. I had to actually print on the network printer instead of my deskjet printer. Something about the size of the check box if unchecked, that my printer could not print.

No it does not show at all if no data has been entered. If there is data then it will show the subform.
