Can´t control the size of a Split Form

I can´t control the size of a Split Form. Following is a list with the properties I use that may be relevant for this purpose:

PopUp: Yes
Modal: Yes (I want the form window to be a dialog window)

AutoCenter: Yes
AutoResize: No
BorderStyle: Dialog
FitToScreen: No

Besides I have the Tabbed Documents selected in the Access Current Database Options.

When you say can't control does that mean that the form expands all over the screen?

If so then set the property of Popup to No and force the splitform to contain itself inside the application window, or better yet DON'T use splitforms they are a nightmare.

Splitforms are a nice idea, but you have better control with using Form/Subform setup instead.
