G'day:
I have an database that is used to calculate and keep track of scores for competition events.
tblPart has
Participant
Division (age)
County
TeamName
Score 1
SO Score1
SO Score 2
When finalizing the scores for the event, I will have two reports, one for individual scores (I have that figured out) and a second that will be for team scores.
Each team can be made up of 7 people - of which, only the top 4 scores will be calculated.
I need a report that will list teams in order of total score based on the top 4 on the team.
I hope that is understandable.
Any suggestion son how to get r done?
TIA

You would need to use a query I believe as in the query you can group fields together and also via the properties you can use display top values and modify this to top 4

Always best to mention which version of Microsoft Access you are using.

Sorry - forgot to mention the version is 2007. I will try this and see if I can get it to work.

Thanks

As Trevor G mentioned, you would need a query. For that you would need subqueries to get it to work if you don't want to have to build more than one query. Here's a link:

Remember, you can always base a report on that query.
