If you mean remove protection so you can see the VBA code... no.
You need the original MDB file.

I don't think so.
AFAIK you would need to make any desired changes to the original mdb file and then create a new mde file from the altered mdb file.

EDIT:
You can make some changes to existing tables and queries in a mde file.
You can create new tables and new queries in a mdb file.

No. That is the mde file. You need to work with the mdb file that was used to create the mde file.
