I in my database for my dissertation I used a Case Select system for the security (Which was introduced to me by this excellent forum)

I have to explain in the write up why I used this method over the standard Access Security features.

The real reason is that I did not know how Access Security worked but I can’t say that

Why dont you say that the level of security required in the system did not nesesscitate using only the built in Access Security, which is most commonly used. Therefore you investigated other security options and implemented the Select Case option. And a recommendation/follow up you may include in the dissertation is that a comprison of the two be undertaken??
