Can you insert an image into a PM?

It seems I'm not able to insert an image into a PM. I've seen some other members are able to.
This is what I have in PM when clicking the Insert Image button.

As you see, no upload button. Only URL.

Is it only me?

Hmmm, now that I think of it, it might be a priveledge for certain member levels. I vaguely remember something being posted about it when the forum switched over.

I found the thread that says it's a VIP feature, so it is a member level thing. I suppose it's VIP and up.

The old method was a bit convoluted, but perhaps it still works?
You upload the image; open the image using the forum uploading dialog(s) for lack of a better term.
You grab the url when the image is displayed, and copy that to clipboard.
You paste the url into the window that Tera showed.
Or something like that...

Testing the old way of uploading a pic...
OK, I end up with a thumbnail and a url based pic. Will try to delete the thumbnail and see what happens...
- The pic remains. So maybe you can do it this way in a pm too.
- Nope, when I refresh, the pic is gone if you remove the thumbnail/attachment.

Yes I tried it. The problem is there's no way to upload the image. So the process stops at above stage.

I received the image.
So far we know VIPs and Moderators are allowed to send images via PM.
I received an image from @Gasman too. Unfortunately I don't know his rank. Is he a Moderator too?
