Cannot rezise tab forms

I have created a master form and embedded set of tabs inside it. I placed several sub-forms into tabs. All works well and the tab sub-forms are in sync with the master form. My problem is the size of the tab form area. It is too large for the data inside it. I tries to change Height in the proprieties and to drag the bottom margin up, but it snaps back to the original size. Is there a way to adjust the height and width of tab areas?

My guess is that the subform within the tab needs to be resized.
