Can't Compact & Repair (1 Viewer)

I have an Access 2000 database that gives me the following error when I try to Compact and Repair or build an mde:

Could not find field 'Description'.

When I click on help I am directed to Jet Error Message 3799, which is not helpful.


I tried pulling over objects a few at a time into a new db, starting with the tables. I'll import several tables (40-45) and I can Compact just fine. I import 2 more tables and get the error. I delete the tables and have success, I skip those two tables and import others and get the error.

The size of the database is less than 50 MB, I have over 8 GB of disk space, and I'm using a machine with 512 MB of RAM.


Any ideas?

Never mind. It appears to be machine-dependent.
