Hi, I'm using Access 2010 for the first time and having a devil of a job doing anything.
I'm trying to either import a Form, or create a new one - to display an image.
Neither operation is working. If I make a new Form, in design view I do not see the Caption bar or Close box, just a square grid with lines up and accross.
The Form I want to duplicate (it's in an .mdb file) doesn't look like that (in design view) it has a caption bar and scroll bars and the square grid thing is inside that.
If I copy - paste that into a new instance of Access it says the database has been placed in a state by... that prevents it being opened or locked.
If I export it, then try to import it, I'm told the module name "Form_frmPic" is invalid (as it starts with "Form_" ?). This is the name given when Exported.
It's also not a module, but a Form (if that's relevant).
Spent a couple of hours getting nowhere.. so if anyone can help... thanks!
