Ive seen this before but I can't rememeber what causes it.

"Can't find the '|' in your expression."

'|' is not a letter and it's not a field. It's hmmm...symbol over the back-slash.

Anyway, if someone can guide me back to the light...I'd appreciate it. I'd added a refresh statement to my listbox (which generated my auto fill) and then when I presses the control button to check for IsNull or Send Object, everything worked fine. I Saved the changes, tried it again and I get the error again.

BTW...the SendObject sends a query that contains only four fields...one with the criteria [ID]=Froms![DeletionFrm]![ID2Del]

The [ID2Del] field is selected from my combobox.

If you are using any quotation marks, check those. I have found this problem if I do my code in Word and then cut and paste back into Access. To fix it, just delete and re-type the quotation marks in Access.

Don't know if it's a spelling mistake on the post but you've got Froms! instead of Forms! and that would give you the error your getting

Hehe *blushing* I can't believe that Access couldn't give me a better error code. You were write about the misspelling. My little fingers got carried away and I typed [Archvie] instead of [Archive].

 Feeling really slow today....luckily my vacation starts in a few hours!

Descriptive error codes and Access don't come together! Have a good holiday.
