can't get totals.

i have a project that amounts to a checkbook that manages many accounts at once. i take multiple deposits and add them to get a balance, then chargeweekly labor costs against each account. i need to get readings of the balances in each account. i have a table for deposits (Joan#xxx- $5000 deposit or Joan#zzz-$3000)another for labor costs for week of 00-00-00 (joanxxx-$2000,
Joan#zzz-$1500). i have queries to get totals but i can't get a report to do totals. Message Wizard can't connectthe queries. (the joan# are a common fieldin the queries. is there a better way?
 
If you are getting the totals you want with the queries why not base the reports on the queries? Just a thought....
