I've created a form so that when i input my part number in the text box the description and unit price shows up...but for some reason the unit price shows up but the description doesn't....Y....?

Could someone please help...!!!

We need a bit more information. How are you updating the fields? Are you using DLookup? Give a bit more information on how you are filling in your fields once you enter data in the part number field.

Thankz for responding...
I've one table...it has four fields
1. Product ID (autonumber)
2. Part Number (text)
3. Description (text)
4. Unit Price (currency)
Since I have one table I only used one query. I made it so it display every field except Product ID...on the part number criteria i input the command Like [forms]![frmselection]![cbopartnumber]
In form I used the Wizard to create a form...When I open form1 access show a enter parameter value window which saids forms!frmselection!cbopartnumber...i enter my part number and my form shows up...the part number and the unit price appears in the text box... except the description...y...??
This is how my database looks like...I hope you could help me out in making it work. I am pretty new at this...I used samples from northwind to quide me through and this is how far i got to. I think I am pretty close in finishing but making the descrption appear in form is what really got me stuck...y...???
Please help...Thank You I really appreciated..!!!

i'm not sure if this is what you are talking about but i have a form with 3 field connected 1st is drivername, 2nd division, and 3rd is employeenumber. In the field go to properties, event, after update: put this code in but make sure you put the name of your field in replace:
Private Sub Driver_Name_AfterUpdate()
Me.Employee_Number = Me.Driver_Name.Column(1)
Me.Division = Me.Driver_Name.Column(2)

I only have it in the first one not the other two.
let me know if this works if not i'll try and help you.

I would approach your database a little bit differently. I would create the form on the table using the Wizard. Then I would create a Combo Box for the form, also using the Wizard. In the first screen of the Wizard for the Combo box select the third option "Find a record on my form based on a value I selected in my combo box". Select the Product ID number and the Description to be displayed or just the Product ID if you like. Finish the Wizard. Now you can select your Product ID from the Combo box and when you hit Enter the correct information for that Product ID will be displayed on your form, including the Description...
