Can't open a .mdb file from a button on a form.

I am on a network. I put a button on a form and assigned the 'run application' "msaccess.exe
\\networkpath\filename.mdb" to that button. It doesn't want to work. Please advise.

Can you give me a little more information. What kind of Network (Novell, Windows NT) are you using? Where is this button that you have placed on a form - is this within another MS Access database?

When you say it doesn't work, what happens? Do you get any error messages?

I would first check to see if there IS any problem with the DB itself... find it on the network...double click... does it open? If so, then the DB itself is fine...Is the path correct? How about network permission?
