Once I know the answer, I know I’ll kick myself …
I’ve got a form with cascading combo-boxes. The first field’s options are Surgical or Medical (Speciality), and depending on these, only the Surgical / Medical (sub-Speciality) options in the next combo-box appear. But because it’s a continuous form, I’m having trouble with the sub-Speciality combo box.
On just viewing the form, (not clicking the combo boxes), if any of the surgical fields have the focus, then the sub-Speciality combo-box is blank for the medical one and vice-versa. This is kind of difficult to explain so I’ve attached it. It’s in Acc ’97 and it’s frmDiagnosis.
I’m requerying the sub-speciality combo box quite a lot, and the form OnCurrent, but not sure where else I can do it.
Anyone know what I’m doing wrong please?
