Cascading Combobox Problem

I have been trying to create a cascading combobox in the attatched database but i am having no luck. nothing happens when I chahge the first combobox....

Any help would be appreciated.

the 2 combos are dept and catelogID

I have a feeling its got something to do with the fact they are from seperate forms.
