I have an issue with my cascading combo boxes on the attached database. When I change the Decline and then the Station Name it copies the first row in the table back into the table with the Decline and Station Name changed.

I know it is not the best form as I have set it up to change the second box first and the first box second but this I can fix. I need it to stop creating new records when I update the two cascading combos.

I have used this forum to get all of the information on refreshing the form after update to fix other problem I had with this form but now this one has cropped up and I can't seem to fix it.

could be that your 'decline' combo box is bound. for a cascading combo where you are simply using that data to drive a query (as opposed to a combo for data entry), it should be UNbound.

And please, when posting attachments, make sure to note that they are in Access 2007 format, so people who don't run this version (still the majority) don't waste time downloading them.

have you managed to fix your issue with the given suggestions?

Thanks wiklendt it worked. I had to change the Station Name SQL but after that it works perfectly.
Thank you for your help.:)

missinglinq - sorry about the Access 2007 I will make sure I post it next time.
